Jim`s Burger Haven in Arvada

This place is overrated. Always heard great things about it for years but have never been there.... and won’t be back.We waited a LONG time for take out. When we got home after a five minute drive, the burgers were lukewarm, paper thin, and tasteless. Very disappointing!

Very cool place. Love all the pictures of cars on the wall. Burgers are out of this world!

I like Jim's burgers, but they don't like Me. Gives Me gas, but some times you just need a tasty gut bomb!

Too little meat on the single burger. With that much bread you really have to have a double burger and the fries didn't taste that fresh. I've always liked burger haven so this could just be a bad day.

Classic burger joint! Best moon-sized buns! There used to be several of these types of restaurants in town, but now only Jim's and Grandpa's Burger Haven are left. Go! Go now before they close..

Great old fashioned burger shack. I was especially surprised at the price. Nowadays, whenever we get even fast-food my family and I spend a lot and we generally expect it to be higher prices. I didn't believe the price when I paid. I had to double check to make sure they did r forget anything. Which of course they did not. Great burgers at a great price. Don't change.

Service was good. Food was delicious. My only complaint is that the wait times were a little long.

This is the first place I go when I come to Denver. Just love the place. Feels like home a lot of good family memories

I love this place! Reminds me of a lot of the places that used to exist when I was a kid before chain fast food took over the world. I've tried most of the menu...you can't go wrong.

Little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their burgers are huge and taste very fresh. This is definitely the home of the original smash burger.

2/2 sloppy yummy burger and perfect chicken sandwich. I recommend.

It has been my favorite for over a decade. MILK SHAKES made with real milk and ice cream. Sandwiches made to order. Old school all the way.

No mask, No service sign is a giant turn off! Some people have issues of being able to actually breathe while wearing one... Out of fried pickles, forgot an order of fries and we ordered chocolate malts only to receive chocolate shakes instead! To say that we won't be going back anytime soon is an understatement... I will spend my money elsewhere...

So love the classic burgers. Great place to eat and well priced.

First time coming here with my wife and two kids and had a great experience. It's a very clean, wholesome place with fifties music playing and smiling customers coming in and out. We kept our orders simple with combo #2, combo #3 and two kids combos. Paid about $24 for my family of four. The burgers were great and the buns really feel and taste homemade. I'm definitely coming back.

Delicious burgers with great service at a great price! We'd been meaning to try this place for a while after regularly driving by, and so glad we did. We went in with high hopes, but expectations were more than exceeded with the overall quality of food. Burgers were on point with great topping options, and sides were fresh with particularly tasty onion rings. Can't wait to try the shakes next time!

Food good as always. 👍5 there. Tables not so clean. Cleaner was out with paper towels but sprayer wouldn't work. No guidance on floor to help dimwits distance. Maybe add signage if waiting for ' to go' to stand outside, lobby got over crowded.

I expected the burger to shrink quite a bit during cooking but it was giant! Thin patties but large nonetheless. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Everything is made fresh to order. The burger and chili cheese fries were delicious! The restaurant itself has a classic diner feel. Mid afternoon on a weekday wasn't too busy, as expected, so my order was ready in about 5 minutes. If there's a bit of a line or they seem busy, plan on waiting a little longer. Friendly service. All in all, I enjoyed my first visit here and will be back.

The food is always the best, and the staff are always welcoming. The menu is small and easy to order off of, even for picky eaters because it tells you on the menu everything that comes on the burger. This is a MUST VISIT!!

This is one of those places you can always rely on getting quality fresh food. It's got the feel of a 50's diner. They make a huge 6" burger that's stellar. I'd recommend at least two patties. And don't forget to get a shake or a malt! I'm a fan of the choc/rasp, but you choose; they're all good.

I loved this place as a kid and the burgers taste exactly the same as as l they did 30 years ago. Cheap, delicious, and enormous!

I always get the 6.inch double, but I can never finish it. So it makes great leftovers. Everyone is super nice.

This place is amazing! Great quality fast food burgers at a really good price, the 4" burgers what you'd expect from a normal burger place, and the 6" are really their signature burger. Although as a warning, the burgers are extremely filling so a double 6" would probably be enough for 2 people. Definitely try this place out!

Been coming here since I was 8 years old. I am 44 now. Nothing beats a double six inch with cheese and an order of onions rings. Top 3 places for fave burger... always has been, always will be...

It is what it says it is, a classic burger joint. Simple, fresh made. I only got a 4" single, wish I got a double, beef patties are very thin. Fries and onion rings are both better than most fast food.

Sooooooooo gooood!! My family has been coming here from the beginning and it’s still super delicious as always. The shakes, the burgers the fries the onion rings! I love it. It’s a lot of fun when they have a bunch of classic cars parked out around the restaurant. Feels like a blast back to 1957. Thanks for all of your amazing~ness!!!!Oh and the price is awesome for what you get too!

Huge delicious burger. Got a 6” double burger with bacon and was pleasantly surprised with the price. I haven’t been here in years and it was even better than I remember.

The burger was really big in diameter but thin and lacked flavor. I wish i ordered light or no mustard... it was overwhelming. Not sure how they've been in business so long

Thank you for requiring people to wear masks, though this could use better enforcement. I saw several people enter without masks, though I was told by my partner that they were turning people away and refusing service to maskless people. Hope this is true.

Monster big burgers! Good and greasy smash burgers with lots of cheese and generous amounts at any add-on toppings. Wish I had room for another one.

Food was good as always and it is nice to see them open! Only concern is the inconsistency on who they served that came in without a mask. Some were served and a couple weren't.

Not good. The burgers are large but they are extremely thin with no flavor to the actual burger anyway, it's mostly bun that your paying to put ketchup on.order was also completely wrong even though I corrected the girl three or four times. Also I had a mishap where I ended up accidentally spilling my entire meal on my lap while trying to get up to get some napkins, and none of the employees batted an eye. One just stared at me trying to dab an entire soda and burger with three napkins. It was my fault for spilling everything, granted, but I was at least expecting the employee who watched it to grab some napkins or paper towels or something for me to clean up with 🤦Ate there End of June

Very Clean but that was to be expected during COVID-19. Service was fast and food is cooked to order. BIG AF.. Good tho!

Great burger. Everytime I go up north I always stop in.Just a small issue though..maybe cut those giant burgers in half? The burger so huge it sags. Just a suggestion! Thanks again!!😁

If you're a fan of minimal menus and fantastic burgers, fries, and shakes, Jim's is the place for you. Always a treat.

If you want just a regular hamburger or cheeseburger with what ever fixings you choose, this is a good place to go. It has that 50s diner feel about it. They also have hotdogs and chicken sandwiches if you don't want a burger. They make shakes in a variety of flavors too.

Great for the price! However, I was surprised by how thin the patty was. I'd say it would be best to get a double if you want to feel like you are buying into a burger. Milkshakes are delicious though!

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent bang for your buck. Burgers are cheap but good quality. Fries are crispy and fresh. All in all, great place for a cheap meal. Will be coming back to try the sides and other item. Thanks!

You lost two potential new customers tonight. Friends recommended that we try you out. We check your web site and see you are open until 9:00 PM. All sites (not just your web site) show you open until 9:00 PM. So we drive 30 minutes to try your food...arrive at 7:00...your door is open...walk in...and get told you closed at 7:00. And even though you are “open” you are really closed and won’t serve us. Hmm, your web site lies apparently?? Well, we won’t be back and we will be telling others to stay away. In this period where businesses are desperate for new customers, we have plenty of other options for places to eat. And be welcomed. Epic fail. Complete epic fail.

The food & price is great! The service was even better! Friendly,fast & that's something you never find these days! Good job ppl's!! Keep it up!
